Sanmay Ved was the guy who was able to buy Google.com for one minute in September 2015.
As confirmed by Ved, he was able to gain access to webmaster tools for Google.com before the company cancelled his transaction, as well as rewarding him $6,006.13, which spells out “Google” if you squint a little.
Since Ved was to donate the money to charity organisation named The Art of Living India – focuses on bringing education to the slums in the country, Google doubled the amount and donated it to the foundation.
Here is what Ved had to say about his experience,
I don't care about the money. It was never about the money…I also want to set an example that it's people who want to find bugs that it's not always about the money.
