Apple’s next 4-inch ‘iPhone 5se’ could replace iPhone 6

Apple is currently preparing for its next iPhone launch in March, which is said to be a 4-inch iPhone named as ‘iPhone 5se’.

As reported by 9to5Mac, the ‘se’ suffix is said to be described as ‘special edition’, and as reported earlier, ‘enhanced’ version of iPhone 5s since the upcoming 4-inch device features a design very much similar to iPhone 5s.

Similar to iPhone 6, the new ‘iPhone 5se’ is said to have the curved display, including an NFC chip for Apple Pay.

It may also feature the same A8 and M8 processors, and an 8-megapixel rear and 1.2-megapixel front camera supporting panoramas and autofocus for video recording. The upcoming smaller iPhone could feature Live Photos as well, available in silver, space gray, gold, and rose gold colour options.

Additionally, according to the sources, the existing iPhone 5s model will be discontinued with ‘5se’ taking its spot on pricing chart.

In addition to new smaller iPhone, Apple is also preparing to launch new Apple Watch models, along with new bands.
