Idea is launching its 4G network across Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab.
Idea was previously offering its 4G services in states such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
According to Idea, by January 31, 2016, Idea’s 4G will be available across 183 towns and 7 telecom service areas covering cities such as Ambala, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Firozpur, Hissar, Hoshiarpur, Indore, Karnal, Kapurthala, Moga, Panipat, Pathankot, Raipur, Rohtak, Sonipat, while Charkhadadri, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jalandhar, Mukstar, Patiala, Pinjore, and Sangria will be added by January 31st.
Additionally, Idea will add another 84 towns which includes Ambikapur, Anuppur, Bhilai, Bilaspur, Chhatarpur, Katni, Kawardha, Korba, Mandasur, Neemuch, Rajnandgaon, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Sehore, Shahdol, Shivpuri, Ujjain, and Vidisha by March 2016.
Also, Ambrish Jain, Deputy Managing Director, Idea Cellular said that Idea’s 4G network will be covering 750 cities and 10 telecom circles across the country.
Similar to Idea, Vodafone is also planning to expand its 4G coverage to cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
