Vodafone launches 4G in India, starting with Kochi

One of India’s leading telecommunication services provider, Vodafone, has announced high-speed 4G internet connectivity to start rolling out in Kochi (India) from December 14th.

The next generation internet will be delivered through 1,800MHz band, giving users much faster speeds on smartphones. Vodafone 4G launch will help improve the state of internet connectivity across the country, allowing users to enjoy much faster download/upload speeds, as well as seamless online music streaming with their favourite apps.

Vodafone 4G-LTE services can be accessed using 4G enabled devices such as the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, HTC One A9, and other high-end devices available in the country.

As part of this announcement, Sunil Sood – CEO, Vodafone India said,

We are delighted to launch our ultrafast 4G services in India that will give customers the power to experience the most advanced wireless broadband experience available across the globe today.

Also, Vodafone will expand its 4G network coverage to more Indian cities such as – Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai in the coming months.
