Microsoft launches Lumia 950 and 950 XL in India, starting from ₹43,699

Today, Microsoft launched its latest Windows devices in India – Lumia 950 priced at ₹43,699 while Lumia 950 XL costing ₹49,399. You can order both devices starting today, and will be available from December 11.

Latest Lumia devices were launched at Microsoft’s Windows devices event last October, while launch in India was announced by Satya Nadella during his visit to Mumbai for Future Unleashed event.

Both devices are running Windows 10 operating system. Lumia 950 comes with 5.2-inch display and powered by 1.82GHz hexa-core processor and 3000mAh battery, while Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch display powered by 2GHz octa-core processor with 3,340mAh battery.

Also, both devices come with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 20-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera along with triple LED RGB natural flash to give your photos better quality. The camera of these devices can shoot 4K videos as well.

In addition to that, both devices come with USB Type C, along with dual-sim 4G LTE support.

A useful feature on these devices is Windows 10 Continuum feature using the Microsoft Display Dock allowing you to use your phone just like a desktop PC, with all your keyboard shortcuts. Microsoft Display Dock is free with Lumia phones for limited time, but costs ₹5,999 if bought separately.

Another is adaptive antenna technology on Lumia devices to automatically select best signal available.

With regard to your device’s security, Lumia devices come with iris scanner – Windows Hello to unlock your devices.
